The objective of this research is to demonstrate not only the importance but also the need for experimentation in the construction of scientific knowledge. Our research seeks to prove that with the use of simple materials and low cost, the teacher provides students with a fun and attractive class, and promote meaningful learning, wiping out the passivity of theoretical-traditional classroom. To this end, was chosen as methodological process conducting physics experiments with students of the 8th year of primary education Municipal Schools (E.M.E.F) Maria Graça Lima and Maria de Lourdes Brasil, as well as a qualitative research with the view of students and teachers on physics experiments developed in schools.
