The research was carried out through on-site observations, document analysis, and consultation of technical reports, allowing for a comprehensive interpretation of the interaction between mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and automation systems. The main systems were specified, such as the Miter and Guillotine gates, as well as the filling and emptying sluices, in addition to the auxiliary systems, which include power supply, automation, supervision, CCTV, fire protection, drainage, compressed air, and ventilation. The analysis focused on the interaction and integration among these systems, highlighting their relevance to ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of transposition operations. Safety measures, inspections, and preventive and corrective maintenance implemented in the system were also discussed, emphasizing the importance of the work carried out by technical teams.
