The research employs an exploratory methodology based on a bibliographic and documentary review. The main databases explored were BRAPCI and SciELO. The study focuses on the Certificate of Electoral Clearance issued by the Superior Electoral Court (TSE). The Diplomatics analysis of the record identifies its internal and external elements, such as structure, authenticity, and the complete record. The Undergraduate thesis also includes a flowchart describing the process of issuing and validating the Certificate of Electoral Clearance. The study is based on authors such as Bellotto (2002) and Duranti (2009). Additionally, the research covers the InterPARES project, led by archivist Luciana Duranti, which explores practices to ensure the preservation and authenticity of digital records in archival systems. This project is one of the main references in the evolution of digital Diplomatics.
