The study adopted a qualitative approach based on a case study and bibliographical research. Participant observation was used for data production, followed by content analysis. Authors such as Soares (2003), (2020), (2022), Ferreiro and Teberosk (1986), Carvalho (2005), Mortatti (2006), Freire (1996) and Libâneo (1990), (1994), was used to support this article. The results indicate that contributing factors should be considered in the literacy process, such as the choice of practices that address children's literacy and literacy in the early years. This involves demethodizing practices that no longer guarantee learning, as well as developing successful practices with methodological procedures based on theories that strengthen measures to address the literacy and literacy process in the educational setting, particularly in public schools.Acesso AbertoAlfabetização e letramentoPráticas exitosasExperiências metodológicasLiteracy and literacySuccessful practicesMethodological experiencesCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAOFundamentos teóricos metodológicos sobre regência de práticas exitosas de alfabetização e letramento nos anos iniciais do ensino fundamentalTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - ArtigoAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazil
