However, issues such as corporeality are still often viewed through a prejudiced lens—even within the educational sphere, where the body ought to be fully valued. Therefore, it is essential to incorporate the body—leveraging its full potential—to foster better development of children's corporeality and, consequently, their learning. This study aimed to analyze the key factors associated with the benefits of addressing corporeality in education, as well as to identify teachers' perspectives on the body, understand the challenges of working with the body pedagogically, and highlight the importance of addressing corporeality in an educational setting. The research employed both fieldwork and a literature review, drawing primarily on the work of Gualberto (2017) and Freire and Dantas (2012). The study indicates that, although the literature highlights the importance of the body in education, some teachers still perceive this as a task reserved for art or physical education classes; they face difficulties in addressing the body in the classroom and finding ways to facilitate its optimal development, largely due to a lack of understanding regarding the distinction between the physical body and corporeality.Acesso AbertoCorporeidadeDocentesEducação InfantilCorporealityTeachersEarly Childhood EducationCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAO::ENSINO-APRENDIZAGEM::METODOS E TECNICAS DE ENSINOA corporeidade na visão de professores em uma escola no marajó das florestasTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - Monografia
