Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/7734The Maintenance, Operation and Control Plan, or MOCP, is a document established by Law No. 13,589, of January 2018, which aims to ensure air quality in indoor environments, preserving the health of occupants and buildings. This work is a case study to verify the preparation and implementation of the MOCP at the Research Institute of the Amazonian Engineering Development Center (AEDC), located at the back of the Federal University of Pará-UFPA, CAMTUC pole, in the city of Tucuruí in Pará, with a focus on improving air quality and increasing the durability of its active air conditioning equipment and reducing particulates suspended in the air, bringing a safer and healthier environment for occupants. Based on the data collected, it was possible to create a MOCP for the research institution, based on the quantification and identification of air conditioning equipment, a preventive maintenance model was drawn up that meets the institution's needs. This reinforces the viability and ef ectiveness of the MOCP in extending the useful life of these assets and reducing the time spent on unplanned corrective maintenance.
