Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/6342This research seeks to report extensionist experiences lived during the actions of the extension project “Document, history and memory: heritage education in permanent archives”, linked to the Faculty of Archival science of the Federal University of Pará. The main purpose of the extension project was to promote knowledge and appreciation of the documentary heritage held by the Public Archive of the State of Pará with students from the public school system, through heritage education. Lectures, exhibitions of historical documents and guided visits to the Public Archive of the State of Pará were held with students from Dom Pedro I, Eunice Weaver, Dr. Freitas and Joao Carlos Batista.
