Disponível em: Acesso em:https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9683This work focuses on the development of an authorial line of decorative tiles inspired by Amazonian iconography and its application in architecture. The proposal seeks to recognize, rescue, and reinterpret symbolic elements of the region, transforming them into graphic compositions integrated into built spaces. It is a qualitative and experimental research that combined iconographic studies and design experimentation, culminating in the creation of a set of tiles. The process resulted in a line composed of eight distinct pieces derived from five selected iconographies: the tracajá, the igarapé, the açaí palm, the guaraná, and the water lily. Each element was chosen for its symbolic and economic significance within the Amazonian context and subsequently transformed into graphic solutions. The modular organization and visual diversity of the line aimed to enable multiple compositions, preserving regional identity through iconography while providing flexibility for application in different architectural contexts.
