To this end, this research analyzes the accessibility conditions of Santo Amaro Square, in Goianesia do Para, based on the criteria established by ABNT NBR 9050:2020, which regulates accessibility in public spaces. An evaluation method was developed using evaluative concepts (insufficient, regular, good, and excellent), inspired by the QualificaURB tool. The method adopts criteria with scores ranging from 0 to 10 to analyze elements such as sidewalks, ramps, pavements, accesses, and urban furniture, considering local specificities. The process included technical visits, direct observation, planning, photographic records, and the application of an evaluation script. The results revealed several inadequacies in the square, including ramps that do not meet normative standards, uneven pavements, and the absence of tactile flooring, all of which hinder safe mobility. While some elements, such as the terrain and the arrangement of posts, are adequate, the accesses present physical barriers that compromise accessibility and user safety. Consequently, the square does not fully meet the criteria outlined in ABNT NBR 9050:2020, achieving an overall score of 3.45, which represents regular conditions to accommodate the circulation of people with disabilities and reduced mobility.
