Objectives: Evaluate the correlation between anthropometric variables and the QoL of people with PD. Methods: This is a cross sectional, descriptive and analytical study, carried out by collecting anthropometric (Body Mass Index and Triciptal Skin Fold) data to identify the nutritional status and applying the Parkinson’s Disease Questionnaire (PDQ-39) for QoL. SPSS software, version 24.0, was used for the statistical analysis. Results: The research conducted with 33 participants followed up in a public hospital in Belém. It observed that the mean age of the participants was 58.9 ± 11.6 years, with prevalence among men (69.7 %). Overweight was noted in 45.4 % of the respondents. Perceived QoL was most impaired in the dimensions of body discomfort (75.3 ± 16.6), social support (62.7 ± 15.7) and mobility (61.0 ± 23.6). The correlation between total QoL score and age (model 1, B= 0.347; CI 0.004 - 0.902; p=0.048), which remained statistically significant in multiple linear regression, independent of gender (model 2, B=0.365; CI 0.016 - 0.937; p=0.043) and BMI (model 3, B=0.363; CI 0.006 - 0.943; p=0.047), suggests that in the participants of this study, this relation is not dependent on gender and nutritional status. Conclusion: It was found that the lower the BMI, the worse is the cognition and social support. And the higher the TSF, the less affected are the daily physical activity and cognition dimensions; however, the more affected is social support. It is essential that the public health service invest in campaigns and support groups about the best way to live with PD, carry out the mapping on a larger scale of these patients, besides offering, especially, a multidisciplinary team for the treatment of PD to control the symptoms, improve the nutritional profile and QoL of these individuals.
