In this context, this study aimed to develop and validate a wireless wearable system for angular and temporal kinematic gait analysis, with the aim of stimulating the analysis and development of this application, contributing to the democratization of access to academic research in the context of biomechanical instrumentation. The system architecture was based on a network of inertial sensors (MPU-6050) controlled by ESP32 microcontrollers, using the ESP-NOW communication protocol to ensure low latency and real-time data transmission. Furthermore, the validation methodology consisted of static trials compared with manual goniometry and dynamic trials compared with two-dimensional videogrammetry. The results demonstrated the technical feasibility of the proposed system, confirming its ability to monitor angular excursions and identify gait cycle phases with preliminary agreement with the reference methods.
