Trabalho de Curso (Bacharelado em Biblioteconomia) – Faculdade de Biblioteconomia, Instituto de Ciências Sociais Aplicadas, Universidade Federal do Pará, Belém, 2026. Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/10029The research investigates the profile of two studies on BookTok, the reading subcommunity of TikTok, seeking to understand the atuação two digital mediators of reading and their influence in the literary schools of young Brazilians of Geração Z. In the methodology, adotou-se a Revisão Sistemática da Literatura, with the survey of the Anais we found National Research and Post-Graduation in Information Science (ENANCIB), between 2021 and 2025, complemented by articles from the Data Base in Information Science (BRAPCI), due to a shortage of specific products in the main event. At the end of the search and selection, a total of six jobs were obtained, equally divided between theoretical and empirical research. The results show that booktubers and booktokers are occupying a space previously restricted to librarians, professors and literary critics, providing an incentive to reading for pleasure and entertainment or a predominant objective, alongside the dissemination of editorial releases and the construction of reading communities. There is a difference in perception between the reading public, which is deceived by emotional identification with the creators of content, and the institutional formations, which demonstrate distrust of commercial views on the part of these contents. Regarding the influence of reading behavior, the studies aim at concrete effects, such as greater reach of emotional content on social networks, seeking books recommended by influencers in public libraries and high volume of interactions in videos about books. It is concluded that BookTok, a topic that can still be further explored in the field of Brazilian Information Science, constitutes a legitimate space for media and training of readers, recommending future studies in other databases and empirical research directly with booktokers and the reading public.
