Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/5867The research presented comparatively evaluated the luminous performance of three different drawings of hollow elements designed by the author, called “square”, “hexagon” and “scale”. The results were obtained through computer simulation performed with the software DIALux evo, applied to two classrooms in the building of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the Federal University of Pará, in the city of Belém, with orientations to the north and south. After validating the models, the comparative analysis was carried out on two levels: the first one referred to the analysis of each proposed element individually compared to the original situation of the rooms, with the presence of wooden shutters, under the parameters: illuminance values in the work plan, distribution and reach of light in the environments; the second level of assessment consisted of analyzing the performances of the three elements with each other, under the same parameters. It was observed that the three proposed cases provided a significant increase in the average illuminance at the work plan level in relation to the original shutters, as well as a greater range of light in the rooms. However, the three proposals performed worse than the original situation in terms of light distribution.
