Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/6887The present study addresses the connection between Somatic Education, more specifically through the GYROKINESISⓇ method with Martha Graham's Modern Dance technique, the objective is to identify the contributions of the Gyrokinesis method in Graham's technical classes to the teaching and learning process, as well as to the pedagogical practice. The methods used for the study were quantitative research, qualitative research, and action -research. The procedures occurred in two moments, in the first moment it was the bibliographic research whose main authors such as Bolsanello (2011), Gonçalves (2015), Rosário (2018), Feijó (2017) and Verdun (2013) collaborated for the theoretical basis as well as for the elaboration of the field research.
