This study aims to analyze specific cases to understand the various aspects involved and identify the best practices that ensure the safety and efficiency of these activities. The detailed analysis of the case revealed operational, regulatory and risk management flaws, highlighting the need for strict control and prevention measures.. Deep water operations, for example, present different challenges from land operations, requiring specific well control approaches and technologies. In the context of this work, a study was carried out aimed at evaluating the potential of Amazonian fruits, such as cupuaçu and masac, as additives in well control fluids. The effectiveness of these additives on the stability and performance of fluids in drilling operations was investigated, with the preparation of experimental formulations incorporating fruit additives. Laboratory evaluations of the viscosity, density and other relevant properties of the fluids were carried out to determine the best type of fluid for different wells. The results of this study indicate that the natural additives of the Amazon can significantly improve the properties of drilling fluids, offering sustainable and environmentally friendly alternatives. The viscosity and stability of the fluids were improved with the inclusion of additives, demonstrating a performance comparable, if not superior, to conventional additives. In addition, the use of natural ingredients promotes environmental sustainability, reducing dependence on synthetic chemicals and minimizing the environmental impact of drilling operations. This study presents an innovative approach by incorporating natural ingredients from the Amazon into well control fluids, contributing to new data on the application of Amazonian fruits in the oil industry. The discoveries pave the way for more eco-conscious and effective practices in drilling wells, promoting both sustainability and operational performance. By demonstrating how natural resources can be used in an innovative way in the oil and gas industry, this work promotes the integration of sustainable practices in the exploitation of natural resources, benefiting the environment and the economyAcesso AbertoFrutas amazônicasFluidosPerfuraçãoAmazonian fruitsFluidDrillingCNPQ::CIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA::QUIMICAEstudo do uso de frutos amazônicos em fluidos de perfuração e controle de poço: sustentabilidade na indústria de petróleo e gásTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - ArtigoAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazil
