Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/10052The study aims to evaluate and determine the prevalence of dental anomalies in the number of population that performs a dental clinic at the Federal University of Pará and to compare the results obtained with the existing data from other research. In the methodology, analyzes were made of 663 digital panoramic radiographs and digitalized images of patients from dental clinics at the Faculty of Dentistry of the Federal University of Pará between the periods of 2017 to 2019. Where the results are comparable to the 663 exams of graphic radiography, about of 6, 94% reported number anomalies. In addition, it was found that the prevalence of hypodontia in the assessed population consists of 4.83% and the prevalence of hoperdontia was 2.11%. As it was also selected that there was a predominance of females (64.52).
