This work describes the refurbishment of a test bench originally developed as a research project, enabling its use as a teaching platform. Since it is intended for instructional purposes, the development of detailed and unambiguous operating manuals is required, as it is not merely a research-oriented setup. The objective of this work is to describe the refurbishment of a test bench for educational applications in electric drives, power generation, and control systems. Initially, the original design of the test bench is presented. Subsequently, its main equipment is described, followed by the proposed refurbishment, including modifications to the power and control circuits. The main outcomes of this work include the Operational Procedures supported by a Descriptive Reference of the Test Bench. Due to their length, these documents are presented as appendices. These materials are essential for proper operation of the test bench.
