Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8859University museums and collections play a crucial role in preserving historical, social, and academic memory, while also contributing to education and the dissemination of scientific and cultural knowledge. However, many face visibility challenges, such as the Anatomy Museum of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), whose limited outreach restricts its access to the target audience. This article aims to understand the factors contributing to the invisibility of this museum and propose strategies to enhance its accessibility and recognition. The methodology is based on the diagnostic evaluation of collections, using a qualitative and quantitative questionnaire developed by the UFPA Network of Collections and Museums. The results indicate that the museum's low visibility stems from the lack of a consolidated outreach policy, a target audience limited to health students, and the absence of accessibility strategies. Although the collection is available online and features an updated website, communication remains limited. The study highlights the need to strengthen outreach efforts and expand access to the museum by proposing feasible strategies supported by UFPA’s Network. Additionally, it emphasizes the role of museologists in the organization and the importance of preserving the collection to ensure its academic and social relevance.Acesso AbertoMuseologiaPatrimônio - Pará - BrasilMuseus UniversitáriosMuseum StudiesHeritage - Pará - BrazilUniversity MuseumsCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::MUSEOLOGIAA questão da invisibilidade museológica: a Rede de Coleções e Museus da UFPA e o Museu de AnatomiaTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - ArtigoAttribution 3.0 Brazil
