Valuing equipment, and keeping it running is synonymous with profit and productivity. The cration of lots of types of maintenance, such as corrective, preventive and predictive, is a sign that industries are worry about the way that the equipment operates, and are Always looking for alternatives for a good functioning of the factory floor. Most industrial operations take place through machines and rotating elements, wich are mostly monitored and analyzed on a daily basis. One of the ways to analyze and evaluate the performance of a rotating machine is through its vibration levels, where the maintainer is responsible for the constant monitoring of these levels, so that, if a indication of failure occurs, it can predict the event, and thus program suitable stops in the most suitable way for the equipment. This work has the objective of analyze a bench presente in the Vibration Laboratory of the University of Pará, Campus Tucuruí, regarding the verification of phenomena related to defects in rotating machines, through its vibration analysis. Shaft misalignment defects, rotor unbalance, in addition to a bearing defect will be simulated, then the data referring to these simulations will be captured, through a signal analyzer, and later comparisons will be made, with respect to their spectra. , to measure the increase or not of levels and vibration, in addition to the appearance of peaks in characteristic frequencies. The unbalance defect will be achieved by inserting a mass into a rotor, in such a way that it becomes unbalanced. The misalignment is achieved by increasing the height of the bearing present on the bench.
