This work aims to analyze the role of these bodies in the educational context, highlighting their functions, challenges, and contributions to the teaching and learning process. This is a qualitative research study, descriptive and analytical in nature, based on a literature review and semi- structured interviews with the management and coordination of a municipal school. The analysis shows that school management, when guided by democraüc principles, contributes to the organization of the environment, while coordination acts directly in teacher monitoring and continuing educaüon.
