Orientadora: Rosana Lobo Rosário. 2026. 22 f. Trabalho de Curso (Licenciatura em Teatro) – Escola de Teatro e Dança, Instituto de Ciências da Arte, Universidade Federal do Pará, Belém, 2026. Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/10160This article aims to present two adaptations of Sophocles’ Antígona — A Vida que Sempre Morre, que se Perde, em que se Perca? and Antônia e a Encomendação das Almas — by the theater groups Gruta and Experiência from Pará, highlighting their staging and dramaturgy. Both seek to address current themes in their reinterpretations of the classic written around 442 BC. Furthermore, the work discusses the rereading of Greek tragedies in contemporary times, outlining a brief timeline of some adaptations of Antígona in Brazil, reaching the city of Belém. In this way, the aim is to reflect on what this tragedy still has to tell us today, and how it dialogues with our historical and cultural context, based on the aforementioned adaptations. For this purpose, the inductive method was used, drawing on primary and secondary sources through bibliographical and documentary research. In addition, the main reference used was an interview with the actor and playwright from Pará, Adriano Barroso. Finally, the studied materials were analyzed through a qualitative approach.Acesso AbertoTeatro grego (Tragédia)Teatro paraenseGrupos teatrais - ParáGreek Theatre (Tragedy)Theater from ParáTheatre groups - ParáCNPQ::LINGUISTICA, LETRAS E ARTES::ARTES::TEATRODe Tebas a Belém: um olhar acerca das adaptações da tragédia grega Antígona, dos grupos teatrais paraenses Gruta e ExperiênciaTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - ArtigoAttribution 3.0 Brazil
