This research aims to analyze the importance of using multiple languages in education, especially through dance in geography teaching, with a view to discussing the concepts of space and territory, to understand the relationship between dance and corporeality; propose a reflection on the scale of the body in contemporary geography, especially based on contributions related to the relationship between geographic scale, corporeality and territoriality; in addition to demonstrating the importance of dance, as a methodological resource, in geography classes. The methodology used was based on analysis in a quantitative-qualitative approach, through survey and data collection, as well as a workshop and semi-structured interviews. In this sense, the discussion of the concepts of geographic space and territory proved to be a feasible theoretical-methodological path to understanding the relationship between dance and corporeality in school teaching. As results, it was found that dance emerges as a method that can be applied in the school space through the teaching of geography, taking into account the body-territory relationship, through the establishment of expressed feelings, constituted relationships and acquired self-knowledge. through this art. With the results obtained in the questionnaires and practice in the classroom, it was noted that the lack of practice in playful activities and knowledge of “the new” generated shyness in some students, however these aspects were overcome throughout the workshop offered. Teaching activities that use corporeality enable the expansion of social and affective interaction capabilities, as well as the development of motor and cognitive skills. However, further studies on this topic are necessary and contribute significantly to understanding the importance of introducing new teaching methods, especially through dance in the school space.
