Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8793This study analyzes the perceptions of faculty and students regarding institutional self-assessment in higher education, focusing on the Avalia-Graduação instrument applied to the Pedagogy program at the Faculty of Education, Bragança Campus, Federal University of Pará. The research employed an exploratory descriptive, and mixed-methods approach, using semi-structured questionnaires administered to faculty and students. Their responses were organized into tables and figures for comparative analysis. The results show that although Avalia is recognized as a relevant tool for monitoring and diagnosis, its effectiveness in driving concrete changes is perceived as limited. Data indicate that most participants do not identify significant transformations in the program resulting from the instrument’s outcomes, revealing a gap between evaluative practices and the specific formative demands of Pedagogy.
