The research seeks to investigate how this playful approach can facilitate the understanding of indigenous rights and geographic concepts among students. The theoretical-methodological framework is based on theories of active learning and constructivism, which emphasize the importance of student participation in the educational process. The work includes studies that discuss the effectiveness of board games in promoting cognitive and social skills, as well as their ability to contextualize content related to indigenous culture and local geography. The main results indicate that the implementation of board games in the school curriculum not only enriches the learning experience, but also strengthens students' cultural identity, promoting a critical reflection on their rights and the reality of their communities. Furthermore, the research highlights the importance of teacher training for the effective use of this methodology, suggesting that teacher training is essential to create meaningful and inclusive learning experiences. The combination of fun and learning, characteristic of games, transforms the classroom into a dynamic and collaborative space, where students become protagonists of their own education. Thus, the research concludes that board games represent a valuable strategy for indigenous education, contributing to the formation of conscious citizens who are engaged in the preservation of their culture and rights.
