Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9681This exploratory research has as its theme the writing of the Course Completion Work at graduation. We sought to understand the main difficulties and demands of UFPA students about the writing of the completion course work and how this process took place during the withdrawal from face-to-face classes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In theoretical terms, the research is guided by authors such as Cruz (2020) and Vitória; Christofoli (2013), for discussing writing in Higher Education and the blocking of academic writing; in addition to data on mental health and other information present in the V National Survey of Socioeconomic and Cultural Profile of Undergraduate Students (2019). The methodology involved the collection of quantitative-qualitative data about the students' experience, through a semi-structured questionnaire, generated on the Google Forms platform. The questionnaire included questions related to possible emotional, physical, theoretical and material difficulties faced by students in writing the completion course work and their experience during the absence of face-to-face classes. Among the results obtained, we verified that the difficulties in writing the completion course work are related to the organization of routine studies, procrastination and lack of experience with academic writing. More than 90% of the research participants pointed out that the completion course work provided or intensified emotional difficulties and that the suspension of face-to-face classes impaired this writing. The most common sensations reported were worry, nervousness and anxiety. More than 50% of these subjects reported having crises or constant feelings of anxiety or discouragement and lack of motivation related to Course Completion Work. It is concluded that, according to the main difficulties and demands presented by the students, the Federal University of Pará should develop/offer, more frequently, initiatives to help students at this stage, including workshops on writing, study techniques and routine organization, rules of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards and anxiety management.Acesso AbertoTrabalho de Conclusão de CursoDiscentesPandemiaCOVID 19Course Completion WorkStudentsPandemicCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAO::TOPICOS ESPECIFICOS DE EDUCACAOA escrita do TCC na pandemia : dificuldades e demandas dos alunos da UFPATrabalho de Curso - Graduação - Monografia
