Its objective is to identify the educational practices involved in the sharing of ancestral healing knowledge within the practices of healers, blessers, and prayer leaders present in quilombos. The methodology adopted was qualitative research with a participant approach, using semi-structured interviews and participant observation in two quilombola communities, João Grande – Viseu/PA and Jurussaca – Tracuateua/PA, with three subjects who work with healing practices. The results reveal that healing practices are complex educational processes that articulate territoriality, ancestry, spirituality, medicinal plants, and Enchanted Beings, constructing meanings of educational sacred practices, ecological practices, and ontological decolonial practices. We conclude that such practices resist coloniality, reaffirm relational worldviews, and perpetuate the "ancestral mandate" of care for the body, for others, and for nature, teaching distinct ways of existing and belonging to the world.
