Its objective is to present scientific productions and academic experiences carried out throughout the teacher training process. During the undergraduate program, several academic articles were developed, two of which were selected for the X National Congress on Education (2024) and presented in the form of oral communication. This text discusses the importance of academic research in teacher education and explores pedagogical strategies for improving Mathematics teaching through adaptive methodologies using manipulative materials.The first article, titled The Geoboard as a Complementary Tool for Teaching the Area and Perimeter of Quadrilaterals, discusses the use of the geoboard as a didactic resource for teaching plane geometry. The proposal resulted in an extension project with students from public schools in the city of Castanhal-PA, aiming to provide a more visual and interactive approach to mathematical concepts.
