Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/2741The Vila Cedere III region is located in Canaã dos Carajás and is situated between the Rio Maria and Carajás domains. This region called "Transition subdomain" is formed by a wide range of rocks with mesoand neoarqueans ages. The units before inserted in Xingu Complex comprise tonalites and trondhjemites (TTG); granites of calc-alkaline affinity, diorites to granodiorites calc-alkaline, tonalites/trondhjemites (Pedra Branca), and A-type subalcalines granites (Planalto Suite). This region shows similarity to the Rio Maria area, and it is also heavily affected by tectonic and magmatic events related to the evolution of the Carajás Domain. The granitoids outcrops in the Vila Cedere III region are characterized as elongated bodies and can be correlated to monzosienogranites with hornblende and biotite, subalcalines and metaluminous, with A-type affinity, characterizing the Planaltotype magmatism. Also, they show similarities with Pedra Branca Suite and other granitoid bodies of the Carajás Domain. The textural and mineralogical variations allowed to set four varieties named: Biotite-hornblende tonalite; Biotite-hornblende granodiorite; Biotite-hornblende or hornblende-biotite Monzogranite and Biotite syenogranite. The geochronological study realized by the method of Pb-Pb evaporation-ionization zircon provided in average ages of 2741.9±0.5 Ma, 2739.7±0.7Ma and 2739.5±0.9 Ma, interpreted as the ages of crystallization, being correlated to Neoarchean the magmatic event (2.75 to 2.70 Ga) recorded in this province, characterized by intense crustal reworking and originating the granitoids from the Planalto, Pedra Branca suites and associated rocks. The Sm-Nd ages of thestudied rocks indicated TDMages between 3.11 to 2.91 Ga, suggesting that they are derived from mantle sources, whereas the εNd(t) values between -2.22 and 0.30, are indicative of the involvement of crustal sources during their formation. Model ages obtained in this study confirm an important period of crust formation on Mesoarquean in Carajás Province.
