The study aims to understand the challenges faced by traditional communities such as the Genipaúba quilombo in Baixo Acará, and the Pesqueiro, Céu, and Caju-Uma communities in Soure, on Marajó Island, in the process of preserving, valuing, and strengthening the resilience of their biocultural fraternities. The study discusses the perceptions of members of the Indian community in the Amazon and some results obtained from field research conducted by the Brazil-India Project with traditional communities in the Indian Country. The methodology adopted included bibliographical research, semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and ecopedagogical activities. The results indicate the relevance of valuing traditional knowledge and practices in promoting climate resilience and developing new museum concepts. It is concluded that the strengthening of biocultural fraternities, both in Brazil and in India, contributes to processes of integration between society, culture and nature, and can promote sustainable practices and environmental regeneration.Acesso AbertoMuseologia socialPatrimônio - Brasil - ÍndiaMuseusSocial MuseologyHeritage - Brazil - IndiaMuseumsCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::MUSEOLOGIAFratrimônios bioculturais e perspectivas museais do Projeto Brasil Índia da UFPATrabalho de Curso - Graduação - MonografiaAttribution 3.0 Brazil
