Using an autoethnographic methodology, the research analyzes the author’s personal experiences as a non-binary artist, practitioner of an Afro-Brazilian religion, and participant in the urban dance scene in Belém do Pará. The study explores the intersections of gender, spirituality, and artistic expression, documenting experiences that may serve as references for other artists and researchers.
