Based on personal experiences lived in childhood, it reflects on the importance of street games as a stimulus to physical, cognitive, social and emotional development. This work aims to reflect on the importance of street games in children's lives, as well as how cognitive development helps in their lives and how theater walks in child development along with games, based on personal memories as a child and the contributions theorists of Viola Spolin and Tizuko Kishimoto, who developed techniques that use games and improvisation as tools for learning and developing social and emotional skills. Exploring Spolin's ideas, it is highlighted how his approaches can be applied in theatrical games, emphasizing the importance of freedom, spontaneity and group work in this context, where playing intersects the powers of these games. In turn, Tizuko Kishimoto, who is a reference in Early Childhood Education, discusses the importance of games and playing in the development of children. Thus, this TCC stands out as street games that provide meaningful learning, motor development, socialization, problem solving and identity construction.Acesso AbertoJogos teatraisBrincadeiras de ruaDesenvolvimento infantilTheatrical gamesStreet gamesChild developmentCNPQ::LINGUISTICA, LETRAS E ARTES::ARTES::TEATROSe essa rua fosse minha, eu mandava, eu mandava vir brincarTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - Monografia
