This article discusses the practices of daily reading, literary texts Literature in our Classrooms. Poetry is a textual modality that, in Literature as a whole, has specificities. Working with poetry is necessary so that we can sensitize our students from the first years. Poetry is beauty, it is enjoyment, it is a trip to the imaginary. It remains for us, teachers, to discover it and insert it into the daily life of our school context. It is a release. The poetic text - malleable, creative, daring, transgressive - helps us to understand language from many different aspects. We do not use many theorists, even because, in the adopted format, many conceptualizations would not fit.
