Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/2517This work on sexuality in the third age is the result of a research developed in the Center of Coexistence of the Elderly Person where I spent approximately 15 days to do interviews with the elderly and also with the faculty of this institution. The concerns that guided the research were: In what ways do elderly people in the Center for the Coexistence of the Elderly see old age? What does sexuality represent for the elderly in the Center for the Coexistence of the Elderly? The objectives of the research were: To analyze the ways in which elderly people in the Center for the Coexistence of the Elderly see old age and understand what sexuality represents for the elderly in the Center for the Coexistence of the Elderly. As a theoretical reference I have applied Foucault (2005), Beauvoir (1990), Castro (2001), Neri (1991), Pacheco (2005), Silva (2003), Borges (2006). The research was carried out in the Center for the Cohabitation of the Elderly Person in the Municipality of Abaetetuba-Pa, the subjects of the survey were the elderly from the age of 60 and also the Pedagogue and Director of the Center, for a total of 10 people. The production of information took place through semi-structured interviews and image capture. To analyze the data I used some elements of Foucault's discourse analysis.
