Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9078The institutional program of Initiation Scholarships (PIBID) is a program of the Ministry of Education linked to the Coordination to the Improvement of the Higher Level Personnel (CAPES) that offers scholarships for students of undergraduate courses with the objective of anticipate the link between future teachers and classrooms in the public network. In this context, the present work aims to analyze the implications of the PIBID in the classrooms from the perspective of the teachers of the schools that supervise the scholars, the so-called collaborative teachers. In addition, it aims to identify the contributions of the program for the teaching performance of these teachers collaborators and to investigate the perception of these about the importance of the activities developed in the PIBID for the teaching of Science in a school of the Municipal education of the Breves/PA-Brazil. This works had a qualitative approach. Questionnaires with open questions were used as a collection data tool. The participants of the research were the PIBID's collaborating teachers. The content analysis and the categorization of the answers were adopted to identify concordances and divergences in their responses. As reported by the collaborating teachers, the activities developed in the PIBID contributed to the understanding of the contents, to the pedagogical practices and to the learning and participation of the students.
