So it becomes inevitable to use a new protocol to solve the scarcity of IPv4 addresses. In this way, it makes necessary the use of the protocol of address, IPv6, making the solution to this problem and ensuring the continuity of the growth of the internet. Thus, the Internet Protocol version 6, to address the scarcity of addresses, has a range address bigger than its predecessor IPv4.
