Resulting increasingly residues, which are improperly collected, bringing significant impacts to public health and the environment. The City of Baião, located in the State of Pará, it does not have an appropriate structure for the final disposal of their residues. So, is necessary the management and the structural reuse of residues taking important not only environmental, but also cool. This study was developed in various sectors, as: Executive Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Executive Secretary of the Environment, recyclable material collectors, dumping ground municipal, all the City Baião. With the objective to characterize and analyze the management of solid residues collected in the city, through a survey of the sources, classification and destiny of residues generated.
