The area is characterized by predominant mangroves, as well as disturbed forests, secondary successional vegetation (capoeiras) of varying ages, restingas, and saline herbaceous fields. This research aims to perform a multitemporal analysis of the coastal landscape transformations on Ilha de Fora between 1986 and 2024, emphasizing erosional and sedimentation processes alongside changes in vegetation cover. The methodology was based on Landscape Ecology principles, analyzing the structure, functionality, and dynamics of environmental systems through the interaction between natural elements and anthropogenic interventions. To this end, spectral data were acquired via the United States Geological Survey (USGS) platform, and land use and land cover dynamics were assessed using the MapBiomas Project historical series (Collection 10). Vegetative vigor was monitored through the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), processed using the ratio between near-infrared (NIR) and visible red bands. Additionally, Digital Elevation Models (DEM) were generated for drainage network extraction and altimetric analysis. The accuracy of orbital analyses was ensured through field validation, where the collection of control points (Ground Truth) allowed for the correlation of spectral responses with factual evidence of degradation and regeneration observed in situ. The results, presented through cartographic products, evidence the impacts of laterite extraction pits (piçarreiras) over time on springs and drainage points. There is a noticeable alteration in regeneration and degradation of vegetation aspects, primarily in the island's upland areas (terra firme), contrasting with the significant growth of mangrove vegetation following the creation of the Marine RESEX in 2002.Acesso AbertoMutucalPiçarreiraVegetaçãoLateritic quarryVegetationCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::GEOGRAFIAAnálise multitemporal de transformações da paisagem costeira na Ilha de Fora, Resex Marinha Mãe Grande de Curuçá, entre 1986 e 2024, município de Curuçá, Pará, BrasilTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - MonografiaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazil
