Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/7432The Industrial complex located in the eastern portion of the administrative area of Icoaraci, limited by the Maracaruera, Águas Negras and Campina de Icoaraci neighborhoods, was implemented to promote the municipality's industrial capacity and facilitate the flow of timber, agro-industrial products and services such as shipyards and logistics. products by land and river. Adding to the context, there is a growing demand for urban organization to build housing and adapt to inadequately installed land that does not have quality supply and sanitation mechanisms, thus presenting a great potential for groundwater pollution. Therefore, the current work was designed to build models of vulnerability to groundwater contamination for the northern region of the municipality of Belém, which covers the region of the district and adjacent regions, using the GOD and DRASTIC index, in order to map suitable areas possible capture of quality water, compare the veracity of each method and which one best applies in the region, as well as creating a subsidiary instrument to generate spatial planning that integrates underground water resources. To this end, data from drilled wells registered in the national database SIAGAS and monitoring data from local drillings totaling 60 wells were used. Data such as aquifer recharge capacity, static level depth, aquifer material, topography, soil types and conductivity were collected, with more emphasis on data from wells capturing shallower aquifers from the barrier formation. In the study, the result of the modeling carried out by superimposing these indices in map algebra in a GIS environment presented cumulative indices ranging from 0.2 to 0.7, meaning that the aquifer has medium and high vulnerability and 96.37 to 165.96 meaning that there are areas of very low to extreme vulnerability, in comparison both delimited satisfactory results, however the GOD method proved to be more restrictive in areas, in the most populated regions and close to the industrial area, but the DRASTIC method, presents more detail in the aspect of observing the infiltration capacity into the soil. It is expected that this research will be useful in sustainable environmental management, supporting conservation policies for underground water resources, as provided for in national legislation.Acesso AbertoHidrogeologiaGISVulnerabilidade naturalÁgua subterrâneaHydrogeologyNatural vulnerabilitySubterranean waterCNPQ::CIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA::GEOCIENCIAS::GEOLOGIADiagnóstico e comparação cartográfica de vulnerabilidade natural de águas subterrâneas urbanas do distrito industrial de Icoaraci - BelémTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - Monografia
