Also is described the sizing and a estimated budgetary cust for the chosen treatment of the effluent of a bovine slaughterhouse in Tucuruí-PA. Identifies the state of the cattle sector of the country, besides the various types of existing treatments for slaughterhouses’s effluent, highlighting the chosen treatment and it’s advantages. With the use of a in loco visit and a application of a semi-structured questionnaire, chosen as a methodologic procedure, the study proposes, referenced on identified publications and in the adopted methodology, that the slaughterhouse effluent, characterized with a high organic matter content, needs to be treated with a compound system of an anaerobic pond adjacent to a facultative pond, with a anaerobic membrane bioreactor. Finally, the study presents the plans of the proposed project and the estimated budgetary cust, for the evaluation of the total cust of the construction.
