Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8412In line with the research developed by the Neuroarchitecture Laboratory – Labneurau/UFPA and fostered by the author's first-hand experiences, this study focuses on the complexities of health, exploring architecture and its profound impact on the mental health of its users. Aiming at the practical ends of this knowledge, the research results in an architectural project at the preliminary study level aiming at neuroarchitecture criteria in a salutogenic approach, with its case study object being the Psychology Clinic of the Federal University of Pará – CLIPSI/UFPA, located in the Brazilian Amazon, in Belém, Pará, on the Guamá campus, Basic sector. For this, semi-structured interviews, observations, physical and photographic surveys, bibliographic, field and documentary research, narrative review and the use of specific software were used to structure and fill out the sections of this work. Expanding on this, this paper is organized as follows: first, it addresses the relationship between architecture and mental health, and then it discusses the links between architecture and perception, with an emphasis on neuroarchitecture and its contributions; then it deals with salutogenesis and its guidelines, and finally, it presents the process of developing the project itself, as well as its results.
