Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9538This study investigates the use of GeoGebra as a teaching tool in the initial training of mathematics teachers in Capanema-PA, Brazil. Through a training program with undergraduate students, the study analyzed their prior knowledge, perceptions, and challenges associated with integrating the software into teaching. The results indicate that future teachers recognize the potential of GeoGebra to make classes more dynamic, visual, and interactive, especially in geometry, functions, and trigonometry content. However, significant barriers were identified, such as a lack of technological infrastructure, teacher resistance, a lack of specific pedagogical training, and difficulties in planning lessons with technology.
