In public schools, especially those in the countryside, the scenario is even more uncomfortable. Therefore, this research aimed to analyze the effectiveness of teaching and learning of physics offered by the Modular Teaching Organization System (SOME) in riverside schools in Abaetetuba-PA. It was adopted in the methodological design of the study, the researches, exploratory, descriptive, field and quantitative research. Results obtained point to the existence of a repressed and urgent demand for change in the way in which the teaching of physics in riverside areas is still put. With little stimulation and low protagonism of students, still seen as mechanical agents, mere memorizers of content, treated as individuals incapable or less capable of understanding and reproducing the knowledge of physics in their local realities. There is still the feeling that teaching can be done in any way, just having the teaching in the riversidearea is enough. Well, the realitydescribed in this study shows that no, this is a false, harmful premise that feeds an education system that does not offer rural students the same opportunities given to urban students. Undoubtedly this is a reality that needs to be transformed, rights and duties are constitutionally guided from the perspective of equality between individuals, therefore, in the teaching of physics it must be given with equity and equivalent learning opportunities.
