This closeness creates employment and income opportunities and access to the tourist attractions on the Island. However, this closeness is also transforming the Island in a periphery away from the continental Belém, making lower qualities spaces and resulting in changes of the islanders lifestyle. This paper aims to develop a proposal of planning of a block in the urban area of Cotijuba, compatible with the effective use of the families (backyard, field, garden). In this regard, a prior research shows the relevant actors in the construction of an urban environment that respects the Nature (urban-natural) in the Island of Cotijuba and in the Metropolitan Region of Belém (RMB), characterizing the housing space and the multiplicity of the blocks, carefully highlighting the relationship of the islanders with Nature.
