The methodological approach was qualitative and quantitative, involving the use of semi-structured socio-environmental questionnaires. The target audience comprised 100 elementary school students from Raimunda da Silva Barros Municipal Elementary School, located in the municipality of Cametá in the state of Pará. Regarding the results, it was possible to identify that the most viable social technology to be implemented in the school would be the sustainable garden, which students mentioned they miss and could be a means to address some issues within the school. Therefore, the study highlighted the importance of understanding and emphasizing the community and local knowledge to implement viable social technologies that meet local demands with available resources, promoting collective action and providing an educational environment through sustainable gardens that demonstrate how environmental issues affect society and the environment.Acesso AbertoEducação ambientalTecnologia SocialEstudantesSaberes SocioambientaisBaixo TocantinsEnvironmental educationSocial technologyStudentsSocio-environmental knowledgeCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAO::TOPICOS ESPECIFICOS DE EDUCACAOOs saberes socioambientais do cotidiano dos estudantes como promotor de tecnologia social da Amazônia TocantinaTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - MonografiaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazil
