It is through this area of knowledge that the present work aims to reflect on the importance of sexeducation at school as a way of preventing Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI’s) with an emphasis on syphilis. Syphilis is an infectious disease, transmitted sexually and vertically during pregnancy, characterized by periods of activity and latency; for the widespread systematic involvement and for the development of serious complications in patients who have not treated or who have been treated inadequately.
