Thus, the objective was to carry out a survey of the most exposed erosive features and determine the rain erosivity factor for the municipality of Cametá (PA). The survey was carried out in November, considered a dry month that makes it easier to collect images. The rainfall erosivity factor, a component of the USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation) model, was calculated using the historical series from 1994 to 2022. The average monthly rainfall erosivity presented values from 307.55 to 2,719.20 MJ mm ha1 h-1 month-1. Annual erosivity ranged from 17,445.44 (in 1980) to 19,118.38 MJ mm ha-1 h-1 year-1 (in 2022). The Rain Erosivity Factor (R component of USLE) was 16,781.97 MJ mm ha-1 h-1 year-1. Results presented were superior to those found in other studies, close to the study area and in other regions, with Cametá being considered an area with high erosion potential.
