The current focus is on understanding AI, its tools and techniques, and how it is integrated with applicability in medicine. That is, being used in applications such as diagnosing chronic diseases, cancer, and predicting cardiovascular diseases. Machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DP) approaches are artificial intelligence tools that focus on building computational algorithms capable of learning from data, rather than relying on pre-programmed instructions, in order to predict , classify or detect patterns. In this sense, the objective of this work was to review and survey the main Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques applied in medicine.
