Mastectomy is considered one of the most effective treatments for breast cancer, despite being a mutilating surgical procedure. Therefore, breast supervision is a surgical procedure of great importance to restore the mastectomized patient's quality of life. Objective: To analyze the national scenario regarding regional differences in access to maternity surgeries for post-breast cancer mastectomized patients through the SUS. Materials and Methods: The present work is a descriptive, ecological time-series study carried out with secondary data on the performance of breast surgery procedures in women undergoing mastectomies in Brazil. A survey will be carried out with the help of the TabNet information base to collect consolidated data in the Hospital Information System (SIH/SUS). Results and Discussion: an 18% drop in the number of mastectomies performed in Brazil between 2018 and 2022 was encouraged, with the North region being the one that performed the procedure the least, while most of it was carried out in the Southeast region. Breast surface surgeries have also declined in the last five years, with equipment remaining in the south-southeast axis. Mammography, on the other hand, increased its coverage in a specific period, although it continues to track the disease insufficiently. These contrasts can be explained by socioeconomic differences between the different regions of Brazil, with a greater distribution of professionals and concentration of health infrastructure in historically privileged locations. Conclusion: despite the growth in breast surgery surgeries in proportion to the number of mastectomies performed, there are still regional differences in access to the procedure.
