Many students consider physics a difficult subject to understand due to the complexity of the language used in concepts and its association with mathematics. However, it is believed that it is possible to awaken students’ interest through something that fascinates and catches their attention. Based on this, the experimental photophone, based on Alexander Graham Bell’s invention, was chosen as a pedagogical tool to approach the theoretical concepts of physics. The aim of this study is to verify the relevant impacts and consequences of using this experiment in the classroom.
