Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/7952The present work aims to analyze the suitability of applying methods to predict the total load capacity of compression of continuous flight auger (CFA) in the Metropolitan Region of Belém (MRB). Among the methods available in the literature, 9 were analyzed, namely: Antunes & Cabral maximum (A&C_máx), Gotlieb (Gtb), Alonso – ES (Alo-ES) and Alonso – BSSP (AloSP), Monteiro (Mro), Décourt & Quaresma (D&Q), Aoki & Velloso (A&V), Anjos I (α, β, γ) (Anj I) and Anjos II (α, β) (Anj II). As the research object, 30 results of static and dynamic loading tests on HCM piles were evaluated. The analysis in question compared the results of the load tests, which relate the values of the maximum loads to the displacement of 5% of the pile diameter (value found from the load extrapolated by the Van der Veen method), and the results obtained through the methodologies. This comparison of the results was possible through statistical tools such as Ranking Distance, Coefficient of Determination (r²), LogNormal Probability (P_ln) and Performance Index, which developed scores for each method, creating an indicative classification of the most appropriate methods for application in the RMB. At first, the Anjos I (2020) method proved to be the most suitable for calculating load capacity in CFA however, this method presented extremely high scores, demonstrating the need for adaptation to increase accuracy and precision. For this, coefficients were proposed based on the statistical tools for each methodology. After the proposal of individualized alpha coefficients (α), the Monteiro (1997) method with α = 0.778 became the most satisfactory among all those analyzed. A relevant aspect observed was the behavior of the Aoki & Velloso (1975) methodology, which presented high score results even after the improvement proposal, occupying the last position in both classifications and proving to be the least suitable because it generated load capacity results that diverged from the results of the load testsAcesso AbertoEstaca hélice contínuaprova de cargaextrapolaçãocapacidade de cargaVan der VeenContinuous flight augerload testsextrapolationload capacityCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS::ENGENHARIA CIVILAnálise de provas de carga em estacas hélice contínua monitorada na região metropolitana de Belém.Trabalho de Curso - Graduação - Monografia
